Arrival in Astana. Excursion
Arrival in Astana. Transfer from the airport to the hotel (early check-in). Excursion: National Museum, Palace of Independence, Palace of Peace and Reconciliation, Khazret Sultan Mosque, Baiterek Monument, visit to the Khan-Shatyr shopping and entertainment complex. Free lunch (not included).
Astana – ALZHIR – Almaty (evening flight)
Excursion to ALZHIR – Akmola Camp for the Wives of Traitors to the Motherland, which was the largest concentration camp in the USSR for the wives of traitors and their children. The camp was established in 1938 and ceased operations in 1953. In 2007, a memorial complex was opened here. Visit to the Nur-Alem sphere (EXPO Center). A tour of the museum’s seven floors, showcasing the main forms of energy—space, solar, biomass, wind, water, and kinetics. Evening flight to Almaty (not included).
Almaty – Medeo. Excursion
Excursion: Park named after 28 Panfilov Heroes, Cathedral, Glory Memorial, Republican Museum of Musical Instruments, Green Bazaar. Departure to the Medeo ravine (1,690 m). A 20-minute cable car ride to an altitude of 2,260 meters above sea level to the Shymbulak ski resort. The resort is renowned for its mild climate, stable snow cover, and magnificent views. Next, a cable car ride up Mount Kok-Tobe offers stunning panoramic views of the city. Lunch is complimentary (not included).
Almaty – Charyn Canyon – Almaty (200km + 200km, jeep tour)
Departure to the Charyn Canyon at 7:30 AM. Upon arrival, a leisurely trek with stops (50 minutes) to the Eco Park village (2 km one way). Panoramic views of the Valley of Castles of the Charyn Canyon, a view of the Moon Canyon, a walk, and a photo break. A short 15-minute stop by the Charyn River in the shade of trees, a photo break, and then return to the cars (1 hour due to the uphill climb). Lunch – dunch boxes (included in the price). Return to Almaty.
